I WANT TO GET PREGNANT
-
It is an assisted reproduction technique that involves extracting a woman’s eggs and fertilizing them in the laboratory with sperm from her partner or a sperm donor. This results in several embryos, which are then transferred to the maternal uterus to achieve implantation and development.
Before proceeding, a fertility assessment must be conducted to diagnose and determine if IVF (in vitro fertilization) is the appropriate treatment.
Once these assessments are completed, the woman will need to start a hormonal ovarian stimulation treatment to obtain the eggs, which will later be fertilized in the laboratory, and to prepare the uterus for embryo implantation.

Today, genetics offers significant support to reproductive medicine by providing various tests depending on the reproductive stage of the couple.
Once IVF has been performed, Preimplantation Genetic Test (PGT) assesses the genetic health of embryos using different methods.
When is PGT recommended?
Typically, PGT is recommended based on the indication from a specialist.
- Women over the age of 35 due to age-related risk
- Recurrent miscarriages
- Repeated failures of previous treatments
- Repeated embryo implantation failures
- Couples who are symptomatic or asymptomatic carriers of dominant, recessive, numerical, or structural genetic disorders
- Women who are carriers of X-linked diseases
-
Today, forming a family with two women, where both participate in the process, is possible through the ROPA method (Reception of Partner’s Eggs). This method involves one partner providing the eggs while the other partner receives the embryos and carries the pregnancy to term. Therefore, both women are biological mothers.
How is it done?
We conduct a reproductive evaluation of the couple, assessing age, ovarian reserve, egg quality, and the uterus to maximize the chances of success.
Sperm Donor
In the ROPA method, one partner’s egg is fertilized with donor sperm through IVF.

It is an assisted reproduction treatment that aims to optimize all the steps involved in achieving pregnancy without manipulating the gametes in the laboratory, thereby preserving the natural environment of the egg and sperm as much as possible.
Naturally, sperm are deposited at the back of the vagina during sexual intercourse and must travel through the female genital tract to reach the fallopian tubes and fertilize the egg.
With intrauterine insemination, the prepared sperm (i.e., the best concentration, motility, and morphology of the sample) is deposited directly into the uterus, closer to the natural meeting point, thus reducing the distance the sperm must travel to reach the egg.
We have a sperm donation program with a rigorous protocol for sample handling.
-
It involves achieving optimal maturation of several eggs through the use of fertility medications.
This treatment is indicated for women who have ovulation disorders, which are closely related to menstrual disorders such as irregular cycles or amenorrhea (absence of menstruation).
The treatment consists of three phases:
- Egg maturation
- Ovulation
- Endometrial preparation
Proper follicular monitoring is important to achieve good ovulation.
I DON’T WANT TO BE A MOM YET

The age at which patients first visit a clinic is increasingly higher.
A woman's age is considered the most important prognostic factor in predicting pregnancy, with fertility beginning to decline at 35 years old.
Our main objective is to raise awareness about the importance of safeguarding fertility whenever necessary, whether for health reasons or personal reasons.
By performing a Fertility Check, we can determine the reproductive prognosis at a given moment, whether the ovarian reserve is optimal or, conversely, if it is advisable to resort to preventive methods to avoid problems in the future.
-
Egg vitrification involves the ultra-rapid freezing of oocytes instead of using a traditional freezing method to ensure the eggs are not damaged and to preserve fertility until the patient wishes to use them.
A vitrification process (ultra-rapid freezing) is carried out to protect the cells from damage caused by ice crystal formation.
The success rate of IVF with vitrified eggs is similar to that achieved with fresh eggs.
EGG DONATION
-
Egg donation is currently one of the most widely used and effective assisted reproduction treatments, enabling pregnancy in women with compromised ovarian reserve in terms of quality or quantity.
CdelaF has an egg donation program with very stringent selection criteria. Donors are women under 30 years old in excellent health. In addition to a thorough psychological, medical, and gynecological evaluation, genetic tests are conducted to detect major genetic alterations.
We treat our donors with the utmost care, respect, and strict confidentiality, always ensuring their safety.
